Forgotten blog

I had totally forgotten that I created this blog. When I was about to create a new blog I stumbled across this one. Anyways my motive to create a blog the second time is to pen my experiences in the world of hobby electronics and programming projects, Towards this end I created a github account and I have purchased a Blynk Board from sparkfun, I want to write about this experience as a way to be persistent at this endeavor. 

The project I have in mind is to turn my manual dumb humidifier into a smart one. I have a cheap Honeywell humidifier. It works well; the problem with it is it gets very humid at certain nights. I would like to turn the humidifier on and off based on the relative humidity in the room. I have purchased this kit from Spark fun. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13865. This kit comes with a humidity sensor. It also has a few bells and whistles that I do not need but let me start somewhere.  

I plan to work on this over the next month or two and I would like to update the progress on this blog. All the best to me!

First post.. testing.. testing..

Heeyy!! Finally I start my blog. I have been thinking for over two years now to start blogging, just did not manage to do it. Now that I have started a blog, I hope I will be posting regularly. Lets see how it turns out.

By the way I plan to blog things like current affairs (mostly centered around india), graduate student life, may be a bit about technology and may be about something interesting happening near me. Any suggestions are always welcome.
